Education, 3rd level college fees for two student teachers.
| | | | Ghana | | Adenguama, Ghana. Bore hole and pumps for a village of 7-8,000 people. | Bantama, Ghana. Holy Spirit Primary School
| | | We helped Fr. John Owusu Achiaw CSSP with part of the construction costs of a new Primary school in Bantama Parish, Ashanti Region, Ghana. Bantama is the former parish of Fr. Richard Olin, who remains in regular contact with the parish. This project addressed the lack of Primary School facilities available in the parish. The lack of a suitable environment for primary education effects both boys and girls. However as the girl child in Africa is highly vulnerable to a range of serious harmful cultural practices and is often forced to leave school at an early age, or not allowed attend at all, the lack of a safe and secure primary education, in close proximity to their families, has a particularly negative impact on girls living in Bantama and the surrounding villages.
